Peter Yeo FRPS, DPAGB, APAGB was introduced to photography whilst training as a Royal Air Force Apprentice at RAF Hereford in the mid-1950s. At first his intention was to record the many interesting places his Service career was to take him during 33 years in uniform. Gradually he turned to more pictorial representation of the places he visited in Europe, the Middle and Far East. Peter has served on camera club committees and held every post one can think of; he has also been President of the Lincolnshire Photographic Association and Vice-President of N&EMPF.
Peters interests are varied and he will tackle just about any subject. Having started in the darkroom it was natural for Peter to apply, successfully, for the Associateship of the Royal Photographic Society with a panel of B&W chemically processed prints. A few years later he gained the Fellowship with darkroom colour prints. In the early years of this century he converted to digital and now only uses digital cameras and a Fotospeed Inkflow system and Fotospeed papers to make his prints in colour and monochrome. Peter works in panels of prints on themes on a wide variety of topics, sport, aviation, landscape and travel being favourites. He lectures to camera clubs and to Federations around the country, and is happy to accept bookings for lecture tours in areas distant from his Lincolnshire home. He also enjoys judging and has been a Selector for a number of national and international exhibitions
