Julian is a Landscape Photographer and YouTube Creator living in the beautiful county of Devon in the UK.  He uses his photography to share his passion for the great outdoors and he wants his images to create a sense of wonder and excitement about the landscape.

Julian also shares his experiences as a landscape photographer on YouTube.  On his channel, you’ll find him talking about the photographic process (from capture to print), the locations he visits, the photography books he reads, and the people he meets, but most importantly he loves to share the joy that landscape photography brings him.

Julian’s passion for his photography often means early mornings or long days, but armed with a camera, a flask of coffee and a real sense of adventure there is no other place he’d rather be than outside capturing photographs.  It’s this love for the outdoors that forms the emotion and heart of his landscape photography.  The photographs he captures are very much influenced by his local area, so his portfolio naturally contains a lot of moorland and seascape imagery.  

Julian’s photographic style is what you might call a classic or traditional landscape photography style.  Light, contrast, and colour all play a critical role in his photographs.  He wants his photographs to be exciting but also genuine, so he also takes a light touch approach to his image editing.  Most of all though, he wants his photographs to inspire people to explore the great outdoors.

Julian has had his work published in several photography magazines and he has received awards in the Scottish Landscape Photographer of the Year competition.  Julian’s YouTube channel has been globally viewed over 1 million times with his videos on printing being some of his most popular videos.
