Andy Farrer is a Dorset-based landscape photographer, renowned for his evocative images and masterful use of colour. With roots in photography dating back to art college in the 1980s, Andy has embraced the evolution to a fully digital workflow while maintaining a deep passion for printmaking. He was the overall winner of the 2015 Landscape Photographer of the Year. Since 2017, Andy has run a professional print studio in Dorset, where he produces high-quality prints for artists and photographers across the UK. In addition to his printing work, Andy leads workshops for Light & Land, offering both landscape photography and fine art printing tutorials. Andy’s paper of choice tends to be NST Bright White but uses Platinum Gloss Art Fibre regularly for more punchy images. His print studio in Dorset stocks a wide selection of the Fotospeed papers.
