For Canon EF-S 10-22/3.5-4.5 USM, Canon EF 17-40/4.0L USM and Canon EF 16-35/2.8L USM (replaces Canon EW-83 E).
Dedicated lens hood (bayonet mount) for the above mentioned lenses, can also be placed rearwards for space saving storage. Made of impact resistant plastic.
Prevents reflections and flare spots on the front element and inside the lens with lateral stray light. Serves as a basic shock protection for the lens. Gives the front lens additional protection against moderate rain or snow.
