Its large 36 x 51 cm panel incorporates 504 selected high-CRI LEDs behind a specially structured diffuser screen, which scatters and directs the emitted light to provide both high illuminance and soft, even lighting. The daylight-balanced 5600 K output and CRI of 95 or higher help reproduce colours naturally and accurately.
Producing a maximum illuminance of 3500 lux at a distance of 1 metre, the PL 100D offers powerful lighting performance for portraits, interviews, still-life photography and product imaging. Its 85-degree half-value radiation angle provides controlled coverage, while continuously variable dimming from 0 to 100% allows the brightness to be matched to different subjects and shooting conditions. The light is flicker-free and contains no infrared or ultraviolet components, making it suitable for both still photography and video recording.
The slim, space-saving housing incorporates a swivel joint that allows the lighting panel to be tilted continuously through 90 degrees forwards or backwards for flexible positioning. The mount is designed for compatible light stands and fixtures with a standard 16 mm spigot.
