Kaiser RB 40D LED Lighting Unit
The Kaiser K5542 RB 40D is a professional daylight LED lighting unit designed for even, soft and colour-accurate illumination when photographing or digitising artwork, documents, photographs, books and archive material. Its two independently dimmable PL 40D soft lights each use 200 selected High-CRI LEDs and can be precisely positioned along adjustable vertical support arms.
High-CRI daylight
Each PL 40D light uses 200 selected High-CRI LEDs to produce neutral 5600 Kelvin daylight with a colour rendition index of CRI 95.
Soft illumination
Specially textured diffuser screens scatter and direct the light to provide soft, even illumination with high light intensity.
Independent dimming
Brightness can be continuously adjusted from 0 to 100%, with each light controlled independently for accurate balancing.
Repeatable positioning
Height markings on the vertical arms and tilting detent joints help create consistent and reproducible lighting setups.

Designed for accurate reproduction
The RB 40D uses two PL 40D panel lights, each equipped with 200 selected LEDs. Their 5600 Kelvin daylight output and CRI 95 colour rendition provide neutral illumination for photographic reproduction, while the flicker-free light is free from infrared and UV content.
Each light can be tilted and adjusted vertically along its support arm. The specially textured 28 × 20 cm diffuser screens provide soft illumination, while independent 0 to 100% brightness control allows the lighting balance to be tailored to the subject.
