Kaiser K5507 RS 1 “microdrive”
The Kaiser K5507 RS 1 “microdrive” combines a non-reflective matt grey base board with an extra-wide, vibration-resistant aluminium column and hand-cranked rack-and-pinion height adjustment. A separate 1:6 fine drive provides precise control for very small positioning adjustments. The height-adjustment mechanism is counterbalanced by a built-in scroll spring, while a locking screw secures the selected camera height once the required position has been set.

Hand-cranked rack-and-pinion height adjustment provides positive, controlled movement along the column.
Super-fine positioning
An additional fine drive with 1:6 step-down transmission allows very small and precise height adjustments.

Fine control with the Microdrive system
The K5507 uses a hand-cranked rack-and-pinion mechanism for height adjustment. The system is additionally counterbalanced by a built-in scroll spring, helping provide controlled movement of the camera carrier along the column.
For more precise positioning, the Microdrive incorporates an additional fine drive with a 1:6 step-down transmission. A locking screw prevents inadvertent changes to the selected height once the required position has been set.
The non-reflective matt grey base board features a printed fine grid, while height-adjustable feet and a spirit level in the column base assist with setting up the stand. Centimetre and inch scales are provided on the extra-wide dull black anodised aluminium column.
