The RB 100D uses two large soft-light housings, each with 504 selected High-CRI LEDs. Kaiser specifies a daylight colour temperature of 5600 K and colour rendering of CRI ≥95.
The emitted light is flicker-free and contains no infrared or ultraviolet content, making the system specifically suited to image-capture work.

Each arm is mounted using a strong die-cast clamp base with a maximum clamp width of 55 mm / 2.2 in.
