Professional Studio Lighting Modifier
Kaiser K3176 Softbox 60 x 90 cm
Shape your studio lighting with a versatile rectangular softbox designed for Bowens-compatible studio lights. The Kaiser K3176 combines a generous 60 x 90 cm lighting surface with a rotating, lockable mounting system and heat-resistant construction, providing a practical solution for softer, more controlled illumination in portrait, product and creative studio photography.
60 x 90 cm light modifier
Generous rectangular lighting surface helps produce soft illumination with controlled shadows and smooth tonal transitions.
Bowens-compatible mount
Bayonet mounting system is designed for compatible studio lights, providing a convenient attachment method.
Rotating and lockable
Rotate the softbox to change its orientation, then lock it securely into the required lighting position.
Heat-resistant design
Heat-resistant construction with four ventilation flaps helps manage heat during studio lighting sessions.
Shape light with greater control
Soft, directional illumination for studio photography
The Kaiser K3176 Softbox is designed to transform the character of light from a compatible studio lighting unit, creating a broader, softer source of illumination for a wide range of photographic applications. Its rectangular 60 x 90 cm design provides a generous light-emitting area that can help reduce harsh shadows and create smooth transitions between highlights and darker areas. This makes the softbox particularly useful for portrait photography, where flattering light and controlled contrast are important, as well as product photography where reflections, surface textures and the overall quality of illumination require careful attention.
The K3176 attaches to studio lights fitted with a Bowens-compatible bayonet mount, making it a practical addition to compatible studio lighting systems. Once mounted, the softbox can be rotated and locked in position, allowing photographers to choose a horizontal or vertical orientation according to the subject and desired lighting effect. A vertical arrangement can be useful for portraits and taller subjects, while horizontal positioning may be preferred for wider compositions, product arrangements or tabletop scenes. The approximately 40 cm depth provides the structure required for its rectangular light-modifying design.
Constructed from heat-resistant materials, the Kaiser K3176 incorporates four ventilation flaps to help manage heat generated by the attached lighting equipment. This practical feature supports use in studio environments where lighting units may operate for extended periods, provided the light manufacturer's temperature and modifier compatibility requirements are observed. Combining straightforward bayonet mounting, adjustable orientation and a useful rectangular format, the K3176 is a versatile light modifier for photographers looking to achieve softer, more deliberate lighting in portrait, still-life and commercial photography.
