The removable front diffuser helps distribute the light evenly across the 50 x 50 cm front surface. Compatible compact fluorescent lamps must not exceed 200 W or 31 cm overall length. Suitable E27 LED lamps may also be used in accordance with Kaiser's current compatibility information. Incandescent and tungsten lamps must not be used.
Included in the kit: Two 50 x 50 cm folding softboxes with umbrella mechanisms, integrated E27 lamp holders, adjustable swivel joints and removable front diffusers; two daylight compact fluorescent photoflood lamps; two adjustable light stands with 16 mm spigots and 1/4-inch mounting threads; and one padded carrying bag with handle and detachable shoulder strap.
Replacement lamps: Kaiser K3115 daylight compact fluorescent photoflood lamps are listed by the manufacturer as compatible replacement lamps. The current manufacturer specification for K3115 is 70 W, 5400 K and 5200 lumens, which differs from the 65 W lamps described in the Fotospeed kit listing. Check the supplied lamp specification when ordering replacement bulbs.
Power and setup: Each softbox includes an approximately 2.8 m mains lead with an in-line switch. The system is intended for 220-240 V AC, 50/60 Hz operation. Always disconnect the unit and allow the lamps to cool before changing bulbs or folding the softboxes. Position each softbox above a stand leg for stability and keep the lights at least 0.5 m from heat-sensitive materials.
